VISITING A CORAL REEFS

Second grade students are investigating animals and their adaptations to habitats.

They have been discovering the amazing aquatic world of coral reefs, and today they VISITED a coral reef in the classroom thanks to an augmented reality app.

It was an experience that not only provided fun, but also allowed them to reinforce their knowledge in a highly motivating way.

There are many benefits in the application of augmented reality in education, such as, the retention of information, training of visual-spatial intelligence and the linguistic association of different concepts.
