MACHINES, MACHINES, MACHINES

Sixth graders have been working on machines very deeply. Step by step we went through the simple complex machines. When these first concepts were clear, they could create their first machines for an special context: They were challenged to  travel to the XIX century, to the beginning of the  Industrial Revolution, being inventors of that time and living in different countries made them look for a solution to the needs of their societies and creating machines using the technology of that time. All these, designs and prototypes, were presented in The Great Exhibition of all Works of 1851
